"The pictures do not do this dress justice - the lace and Appliques all over the lace are amazing. I went into davids bridal with one of my girlfriends who is also getting married and was trying on bridesmaid dresses for her wedding - after BM dresses - my girlfriends went through the wedding dresses and pulled this one and made me try it on. Mind you - I had no appointment at David's Bridal and they were jam packed on this saturday when I was there - I told them I loved this dress on the rack and asked if I could try it on and this would be the only one I would try- I had to wait about 20 minutes and the store manager took me in the back and helped me out while she was on her lunch. I tried it on and as soon as I came out my friends began to cry - i started crying and this one dress is more than enough and exactly what I was looking for - classy, traditional, lace and a-line. it is amazing."

"This was the 2nd dress I tried on. The attendant said it was her favorite one. It was just gorgeous! and cancelled out the 1st one I tried on and liked. Every other dress after that was compared to this one. I ended up with 2 favorites. I saved this one for last. Tried the other one on, then this one. There was no question about it. This dress is so beautiful. the beading and sparkle is amazing. More importantly, the fit is perfect. I am a DD/DDD and this dress fits and holds me perfectly without a bra because of the stays that Oleg Cassini puts in their gowns. The attendant pointed that out--David's Bridal vs Oleg Cassini. The David's gowns stays didn't go down as far, as so there was a crease below the stays where the gown sort of settled. On this gown, it was a smooth look all through the bust and waist, all without a bra. Almost unheard of with a larger bust. This gown is so comfortable. It is snug around the torso and holds everything in place and does not drag or pull you down. There is no smooshed together cleavage or anything like that. The fit is perfect, it feels great on. I was told I looked 'youthful' in it. #I'm in my 50s#. I feel WONDERFUL in this gown. I got it in white. I did try the ivory one the next day at another David's Bridal after I bought my white one. #I just had to know#. The ivory was equally gorgeous. It was almost a tough decision to make. But I stayed with the white because after going back and forth trying them both on several times, I decided I just 'felt' better and prettier in the white one. The white did have a bit more sparkle and pizzaz. But again, the ivory is so beautiful too. The picture here does this dress absolutely no justice. You HAVE to see it in person. As my daughter told my fiancee, "Your jaw will drop!".

"I originally ordered a different dress over the phone that was simple yet romantic. I loved it but my mother hated it. She insisted that I go try dresses on in person and to get something that had more detail. So on Monday we went and I tried on about 8 gowns and started losing hope bcuz nothing made me happy. I was starting to wonder if I was just being too picky. Finally my consultant brought out this dress and it was (second) love at first sight. I tried it on and immediately fell in love with the beading. It still had a light layer of tulle which I loved. Even though it is more extravagant than I wanted and I'll have to adjust other details of my wedding to match, I'm happy I got the dress. And the best part is it was on sale!!! YAY!"

The PERECT Dress

"I have been looking at this dress for weeks on line and found a store within a two hour drive that had it. We went yesterday and it was perfect! So slimming, and the detail is beautiful. The dropped waist makes my 5'2" frame look long and lean. The detail and material are exquisite. BUT...for some reason, we left the store with another dress...I went with what my mom and the consultant liked better. Needless to say, I was miserable and woke up this morning at 6am to drive back and exchange the other dress for my DREAM dress. Brides, follow YOUR heart, NOT what the consultant/friends/family tell you. Although the other Oleg dress I originally purchased was beautiful, it did not make me feel so elegant and pretty as this. This dress has WOW factor!! Go with your gut and get what YOU want. After all, it only happens once. :) Best of luck to all of you."

"I went into David's Bridal yesterday not planning on buying a dress. My wedding is exactly one year away and I'm planning on losing weight, but I was so desperate to try on dresses that my mom and I made an appt to go try on for fun. This was the third dress I tried on and all I could say was "Oh my god..." My mom, other people around, my stylist all fell in love. It's like the dress was made for me! It fit perfectly and it can be altered up to 6 sizes! It's a beautiful dress...more than I could've ever imagined it would be!"

"This was not a dress I noticed on the website or in the store. I asked my consultant if there were any different dresses she would recommend...and she found this one...THE ONE! A few months ago I did try on dresses and liked one, but realized I didn't love it and felt like it was missing the wow factor. This dress made me cry, and the consultant, and the manager, and my family. I am so thankful for my consultant helping find the perfect dress. It is so flattering on my hour glass figure and for the perfect fit I am adding a corset back."

"I was originally leaning to simple, nothing too fussy, ornately beaded or puffy. I considered this dress "puffy" and didn't want to try it on, but did anyway. Turns out it's the one I bought. Well constructed and nicely beaded without being overdone. I added the ribbon to define my waist, and clips were used to cinch up fabric around the waist (which will have to be altered). I'm sure it will be beautiful when all put together with a veil, makeup and hair."

"When I went in I didn't think I liked detail on a dress, or lace. However, my consultant pulled this dress anyway. I was hesitant when trying it on, but when I did I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I felt like a bride in a way that I didn't in any of the other dresses. This dress fit me PERFECTLY and I felt like a princess. I am excited for my wedding 6-3-12 so I can show my fiance why he asked me to marry him. ;)"

"I came into David's Bridal to find a simple, lace gown and tried one on and it didn't do anything for me. I didn't feel like a bride. I had pulled this dress off the sale rack, and it was the second one they put on me. I fell in love immediately! I felt like this dress was made just for me, I didn't want to take it off! I didn't expect to be this blown away by a gown, it absolutely is amazing! All of the staff came to see me in it, I felt like a princess! I also bought my veil that day, which matches perfectly! I can't wait to knock my fiance's socks off with it at my outdoor wedding on 6-9-12!!!!!"

"When I walked into David's Bridal, I had no idea that I would find my wedding dress on the first day of looking. After trying on about six different dresses, I noticed this one hanging on a hanger nearby. Once I saw it, I loved it! Then, when I actually tried it on, I knew that this was my dress. It is so stunning and beautiful. I am ordering mine in ivory and really like how the ivory complements my skin tone. The dress looks even more amazing in person than in the picture and I'm so glad that I found it!!! It's very comfortable and not too heavy. I also like how it is not too big at the bottom...it just has a nice A-line shape. I can't wait to wear this on my wedding day and see my fiance's reaction :)"

"When I saw this dress on the hanger I couldn't believe it was the dress I saw online. It's very beautiful and definitely my dress! I just couldn't believe the difference. I like that is is tight at the top then slowly goes out. I've tried mermaid styles before and they look a bit odd. This one fit perfect. I'm 5'5 and 150 pounds. I felt so beautiful in it! I decided to add a belt to give it nice waist line and focal point."
