"This is the dress I chose for my spring wedding next year. I love it so much! The lace looks like cascading flower petals and the dress itself is soft almost like a formal spin on a cotton sundress. The sash is gorgeous, it adds a fun/elegant flare to the dress it is clustered with pearls, crystals and fabric. Its enough to catch the eye but not too overpowering. The train is long but I plan on getting it bustled so I can wear my dress all night. I would definitely suggest this dress to anyone having an outdoor spring, summer or early fall wedding. Its very light weight and versatile and I am very very excited to wear it. The fit is perfect and I feel as though this dress was made especially for me."

"This dress very unexpectedly made it to my top 3 when trying on dresses. It makes you look statuesque and curvy in a very beautiful way (I am curvy, but not statuesque by any means!). The only things that knocked it out of the running were the train, which is longer than it appears, and gets all wrapped up around your feet, and the fact that the train would get super dirty at our beach wedding. For a modern, indoor wedding, and possibly a bride wishing to wear flats, this would be a beautiful dress."

"Originally, I went to a DB in Virginia and tried on several dresses. I expressed my desire for a lightweight dress (so I can dance at my wedding!) without a lot of frills and beads. The first one was beautiful: satin, mermaid fit, with a bow on the side. It was heavy, though, and very fancy-looking. After trying on a few other dresses, it was clear the first one was the best, even if it wasn't what I was looking for. I put a deposit down and left.
But I kept having second thoughts. I ended up going to a DB in North Carolina, and they had dresses that weren't available in Virginia. I tired this dress on, and I just fell in love! It's simple, but feminine...light and lacey. The belt adds a bit of character, and I absolutely love the back! Everything else paled in comparison, including the dress from VA. I teared up, and I knew I had to get it.
My advice: don't get a dress unless you absolutely fall in love with it. Even if it's your favorite out of all the ones you've tried on, keep looking until you feel that wonderful feeling!"

"I saved this as a favorite and forgot about it. The sales associate recommended it once I mentioned the venue. We are having a large wedding this summer but a private small wedding in winter. Our venue is a Victoria B&B. I wanted lace and an empire wait detail as I'm a bit short-waisted. Nothing too elaborate because I have a crazy gown for our summer wedding. I paired this with the mantilla veil for a Victorian feel and the Fur capelet and child's muff. The picture still doesn't do it justice, it is just lovely in person. Elegant, simple, and affordable."

"This was one of the dresses that caught my eye before going into the store and trying on. I ended up loving it even more when I tried it on! The lace and pearl/rhinestone belt are a perfect combination to look traditional with a modern twist. I absolutely cannot wait to wear this dress in May of this year."

"TRY IT ON! I'm petite and as curvy as they come, and was in a panic trying to find a simple dress for my intimate ceremony that was fast arriving. Thanks to my kinda ample bust and very ample hips, I was starting to assume that I would have to wear an empire cut destination dress. I was okay with that, because I wanted something simple, light-weight and comfortable. I took a spontanious trip to DB, and my assistant pulled this for me when I told her my wedding was in a local vintage mansion. I was in the mood to try anything, even though I was completely unimpressed when I saw it on the hanger. The moment I saw it on, I was sold. Comfy - check. Light-weight - check. Simple - check. Elegant - check. Vintage - check. And flattering - double check!!! I call it a magic dress because it somehow manages to hug my body but make me look slimmer than I've looked in 3 years! Just the right combo of sweet, sexy and classic. I'm cutting away most of the train, but that's all the altering I need. If you have curves, at least try this gown on. I have seen no pics of it yet that do it justice. Once my wedding pics are in I'll try and post one of it."

"I was in to purchase a dress back in Oct of 2011.
This dress is defianlty nicer in person, and looks so beautiful on.
The round trian was my favorite part of this dress, definatly captures the look I was looking for. I am only 5 foot and didnt want a puffy dress that would make me look short and fat. This dress is lean and helps make me look and feel taller.

"I tried on all of the dresses I brought pictures of from the website - but my consultant had this one hanging in the wings for nearly my entire appointment. I kept looking at it but trying other things first. Needless to say I tried it on last figuring 'what the heck' because I was about to leave and go to another salon appointment. I had it on for over 30 minutes!!! So beautiful! I tried lots of different sashes because the flowery belt really isn't my style and something with more contrast really helped my boyish figure (I went with champagne colored satin ribbon).
I slept on it for 3 days then went back alone and had it on for ANOTHER 30 minutes by myself. So I knew it was the one!
Very excited and relieved that it's done and I can focus on other things now!"

"I recently purchased this dress for my spring wedding in Charleston, SC. It is beautiful--much prettier in person than in the pictures. I am 5'8 and approximately 140 pounds and the dress looked fabulous on--very slimming silhouette with figure-flattering lines. The lace is simple but elegant...not shinny like some of the other laces which makes the dresses look cheap. The lace is lightweight too so it feels great on. The pearl waistband is elegantly done and adds a lot of flair to the dress as does the bow in the back. The train is also beautiful...elongating the dress and making it extra special for the big walk down the aisle. The picture in the store write-up does not do it justice. Definitely try this dress on--it is so gorgeous in person. Can't wait to wear it for my April wedding!"

"I first saw this dress at a bridal expo and fell in love with it. I then saw it online and went into my shopping day wanting to try this dress on. It was the first dress and I kept trying to compare the other ones to it but nothing could compare. It is the most perfect and beautiful dress for me!! Shows off your wonderful curves but at the same time makes you look slim in your smallest areas. I am a size 6 in this dress and it was a perfect fit off of the rack!! The 550 slip is perfect with this dress too. So comfortable and I would recommend this to everyone! :)"

"This dress has a cut that is surprisingly flattering. I'm usually very self-conscious of my midsection, but the dress hits in exactly all the right places. I love the pearl waistband, because I'm definitely a pearl-wearer, but I liked that it was removable too. I had an indoor daytime wedding, but because I wanted it to be low-key and informal, I thought the eyelet lace was an ideal alternative to satin. Very summery and light! Really do try this one on if you like it at all. It's so much nicer than the main image shows. I wish the model showed off the front of the dress more!"

"This dress fits my body perfectly & I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day! I tried it on during my first wedding dress adventure. I saw the dress on another Bride-To-Be and thought it was so pretty, so I asked my consultant if she could find that dress in my size for me to try on. I really liked the dress and it made me smile, I actually almost cried when I tried a veil on with the dress, but I didn't make any decisions that day because I didn't want to decide too quickly. Two weeks later I tried on more dresses and none of them compared to this one. So I came back to David's Bridal to try this dress on again. I walked out in it and could not stop smiling! "This dress is beyond perfect! I got engaged Dec 20 and picked this dress (on my first shopping attempt) on Jan17. I tried on a total of 6 dresses: 4 which were random ones the girl chose, based on my "likes", the one i liked from the catalog, and the one my MUM chose from the catalog. each one i tried on looked better and better.... but of course, MUM knows best. She chose this one from day one. lol My mom and I just went back to David's today to choose my veil. Can you guess which one i chose? yup! mum's pick! It's simple, and 'matches' with the dress.
