"I'm going to be a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding and we came in to David's Bridal to check out some dresses we had seen online. An hour and a half later, after trying on maybe 5 dresses we picked 2 top favorites...and then it happened...we caught a glimpse of someone trying this dress on and we fell in love! I grabbed a couple off the rack to try on and it was clear that it was 'the one'! The material is comfortable and elegant, and the sequins and beading on the hip and shoulder give it an extra flair. As we walked around in the dresses we realized that it also has a small slit at the leg...barely noticeable but so perfect! Tons of other women in the store trying on dresses kept telling us how pretty the dress was #and some wanted to try it on too, naturally!# We originally had our minds set on a more latte colored dress but we felt that this color would meld right into the wedding theme. I highly recommend checking this out in person, the pictures on here are lovely but they just don't do it justice!"

"My future mother in law just purchased this dress for our wedding and I have to agree with all other reviews.. We completely over looked this dress. But I grabbed it at the last minute and my mother in law looked stunning.. It's a very sexy, elegant, FABULOUS dress.. and it compliments my mom's dress very nicely.. Can't wait to see my hot mama's on the wedding day.. :)"

"I agree -- this picture does no justice for this dress. I was shopping with my 18 year old daughter for a dress for Charity Ball. This dress is the perfect balance of not being "promy", no plunging neckline or looking too old. It is so appropriate and timeless. She is 5'8", and an alterations lady looked at it and declared it a "perfect fit." It flattered her and is definitely a dress she can use for the next 20 years. I love that although there is a knee-high slit, the overlay makes it a bit more modest."

"I saw the reviews online before trying this on. The other reviewers were right. The online picture does nothing for this dress. I am 5"2 and this dress was floor length with heels it will still touch the floor but looks gorgeous for a formal event. I am wearing it to a formal christmas party. The slit is sexy but not high so it shows just a little leg with out being over the top. Gorgeous!!"

"I too over looked this dress online but it’s just fabulous in person. The material is soft lightweight and comfortable. I have an extremely unique figure I have a 32 G bust and should be a dress size 4. I bought this in a size 8 to accommodate my bust and I can even get away from making any alterations. I will be taking it in a tiny bit at the waist just to showcase my crazy curves. Believe it or not but I’ll be wearing this on my wedding day yes “this bride in black”! I didn’t intend it that way but I just had to have this dress. Please go see it in person you will not be disappointed!"

"The online picture did NOT do this dress justice. I tried it on in store and it fit amazingly! I'm 5'3" with a small bust and average everywhere else but this dress showed off the curves I have. I was surprised I loved this dress since I have black hair but the one-shoulder design worked perfectly to show enough skin so it wasn't too much black. I'm wearing it for my senior prom and cannot wait!"

"Online, I completely looked over this dress for prom. But I tried it on in the store and it looked and felt like it was made for me - I'm busty with a small waist, medium hips and small butt. I'm also 5'11'', so it makes my legs look fabulous (with the slit that isn't mentioned or shown here). I just bought it. A great price, great fit and the purple is a great color. I definitely recommend this dress."

"I actually got this dress for my bridesmaids. This picture does NOT do it justice. There's a pretty beading on the top strap and the same beading on the side. I have 4 girls in my wedding, all have different body types ranging from super slender to athletic and this dress flattered all of them. There's a sexy slit up the side to show just a little leg. The dress is flowy and very comfortable. You can be any bust size, any figure, and this dress would look amazing on you. It's sexy enough without revealing too much. This picture makes the dress look very plain- trust me, go look at this one in person or try it on! worth every penny!"
