"I purchased 3 of these dresses for my bridesmaids in the apple red color. After trying on tons of different styles of dresses in the David's Bridal store, we narrowed it down to the two favorites in short dresses and long dresses. All my girls loved the dress and it fit them perfectly. They claimed it's loose but snug. Not so heavy and most importantly they can dance the night away at my reception. Can't wait to see my girls at the wedding!"

"We ordered this dress in lilac for my mom's wedding. We ordered based on our measurements and the dresses fit very well! (just slightly loose, which is great#. This dress is flattering and comfortable. Will be perfect after a couple of alterations #we are both pretty short, so the dress is way too long for us)
In the pictures are a size 6 and size 10
I live in Canada and they came in really quickly. Im pretty sure we just ordered a couple of weeks ago and they came yesterday."

"I need to order this dress for one of my bridesmaids' that is flying in for Europe. Could someone tell me if the size runs small or large? Based on the measurements, we believe it should be a size 6, but since I've never ordered anything from Davids Bridal before, I was curious if the size runs properly. Thanks!!"

"I'm between sizes (the 14 fit my body, but not my chest, so I had to order a 16), but I found the fit to be comfortable. It may be slightly bigger than other David's dresses in the stores, because I recently ordered a 16 in-store for another wedding that fit perfectly. The only complaint I have about the dress itself is that the drapes on the front of the bodice do NOT lay flat as they do in the picture. So it adds some poof to the midsection, which is not flattering if you happen to be bigger in that area."

Beautiful but Size Issues

"I took my bridesmaids shopping and they all decided on this dress (in Ruby). It was beautiful and everyone seemed happy. We ordered the dresses and waited for them to come in. Once they arrived 2 out of the 3 dresses were too small and had to be sent back (even though we tried them on in the store) This was an inconvenience, but not a terrible issue. We sent them back and got different sizes easily. However, the thing that concerns me the most is that throughout the day spent in the dresses they stretched out TERRIBLY! Little did I know, but at the reception my mother actually had to find the emergency sewing kit and pin one of the bridesmaid dresses to her bra so that it would stay on- even after sending it back because the next size down wouldn't zip (by about 2 inches!). I loved the look of the dresses, but the size issues really concern me. You don't want the dresses falling off at the reception! I don’t know if this issue is just with this dress or with DB dresses in general- just be careful and pack an emergency sewing kit!"

"This dress was ordered for my daughter who will be the maid of honor in her cousin's wedding. The dress arrived and it was even prettier than the picture. Once we landed on the correct size it fit her perfectly. I would definitely recommend this dress!"

"This is my Maid of Honor's Dress in Apple red. THIS DRESS IS STUNNING. The cut and the Fabric really set this dress apart from standard bridesmaids dress. Its super elegant and the brooch set this dress apart. This is a true Maid of Honor dress a special dress for a special job. I allowed all of my Bridesmaids to pick the dress that they will be wearing on my big day. The only requirements was that it be long. love the way each of them look. My Big day will be 11-12-11"

"I'm getting married this June & don't want the typical white bridal gown. The sales associate at DB brought me several dresses to try on, including this one. Once I put it on, I knew this would be THE DRESS!!! What's more amazing to me is that I recently had a baby & I'm a little insecure about my post baby tummy. This dress hides it very well! It's extremely flattering, it's simply elegant, classy & beautiful! I ordered it in silver (not available online, but it was available in the store). I cannot wait to wear this dress on my wedding day!"

"I have never bought a formal gown online before. But I don't live near a mall and I have several special occasions coming up to which I need floor-length formals. I was very anxious about how this gown would fit when it arrived. I was SO excited when I tried it on! It fit absolutely beautifully except, of course, that I'll have to have it hemmed since I'm only 4'11" tall. I was delighted. I bought my wedding gown years ago from David's Bridal. Now that I know I can buy from David's bridal online too, I'll have a new gown for every occasion. Woohoo!!"

"The dresses are even prettier than pictured and i received the dresses in a matter of a couple of days. I bought three of the dresses in horizon one in an 8 and two in a 20 and they look terrific on all three girls. The only problem I had was my own measuring error and i have to return the 8 for a 6 to fit my smaller bridesmaid. If you are looking for a dress that looks great on anyone this is it. It is beautiful and my bridesmaids couldn't be happier with the purchase!! Thank DB!!"

"I was a bit worried about ordering a dress online, I haven't tried on a Davids bridal dress since 2008 when i bought my wedding dress, so i order a two sizes bigger than my wedding dress to wear to our marine corps ball this year i got the dress within days of ordering, and i couldn't be any happier with my buy! i had to get it re-sized a size smaller but, that was no issue with our tailor i love the dress i will be wearing it for the next few Marine Corps ball!
