"Im sure this dress would look good on someone else but for me it looked horrible! Not to mention three seams ripped before i even got the dress on ! I was just taking it out of its package ..i don't get it... there was also a ink mark on it at the bottom of the train....just bad experience with this dress so far. Hopefully I can find another dress by April 28th 2012."

"I returned this dress because I found a dress I loved but this wasn't bad for the cost. I wear a 14-16 in regular clothes, purchased this in a 20 but could of worn an 18. So...I think it runs small. The ruching made it more elegant--hides any tummy bulge so a good choice for plus size brides. The back seam didn't match up very well (not super noticeable but a con if looking for perfection). Also it is lightweight so perfect choice for a beach/destination wedding. Good luck to all the brides out there :)"

"I saw this dress online and have loved it all along. Being 6'1, and curvy I really thought that buying a dress online would never work for me. I tried on a lot of styles in the store that were OK, but none had straps, and they just helped me realize that if this dress was long enough it would be perfect and flattering.
In store they had been zipping me into size 18's some fit perfect and some were a bit snug in the hips and so I ordered the size 20. When it came in it still fit just a wee bit snug in the hips, and was about an inch and half short. I've returned that dress and am getting one size up, just to get some added length. The crinoline might peak out a wee bit for me at the toes, but it's still 100 times better then anything else I have tried.
Great dress, great quality! Does fit very narrow through the waist/hips though so measure carefully!"

"I was hesitant ordering a dress online, sight unseen, but I received my dress (I ordered ivory) a week or so ago and I couldn't be more pleased. It is absolutely stunning and extremely flattering. It needs some alterations, especially in the bust area, but most dresses will need something. I was concerned it might look/feel cheap, but it doesn't. It's absolutely perfect for my upcoming wedding!"

"I went to the store just to try on some gowns to see what I liked and what size fit. I would suggest you do that before ordering online. I am an 18 but the dress is a 24W and because I'm short (5'3), the only thing I have to have altered are the straps. The cross/v neck area is a little too low for my liking but my breasts are big so that is probably why. Still a great purchase."

"I absolutely loved this dress. It fit me perfectly, I didn't need any shapewear, and it made me feel so skinny! My husband told me I was so beautiful. "I love this dress. I was a bit nervous ordering it online, but after measuring my self and following the david sizing, the gown fits nice. Delivery was rather quick, so there's no need for express shipping. It took about 5 days from time of order to delivery."

"I ordered this dress in Ivory 16W, it is absolutely beautiful. I purchased it a little big and had it fitted with a seamstress in my area. I'm 5'4" so I had the length shortened and the train bustled and the straps shortened. I like that I can wear one of my own bras with the dress. Its simply stunning, I love this dress and what a great price! Ordering online is the best way to go. I received my order within days of my purchase. I'm a very satisfied bride. I can't wait to wear this dress for my May wedding on a sailboat."

"I purchased this dress for my beach destination wedding. I am 49, so wanted a classy, timeless dress. This was perfect, and true to size (16). The straps needed to be taken up, which was $20 at my local tailor. I am 5'9" and the dress hit the floor perfectly with my flat sandals. The dress was lightweight and perfect for an island wedding. I got so many compliments on how beautiful this dress was and I was extremely happy with it."

"I have been planning my wedding for over a year and a half and since I have been planning for sooooo long I have seen thousands of dresses between bridal shops and magazines and I hated virtually all of them. I have been to DB about 4 times to try on dresses and each time I was disappointed, so I decided I wanted to try online, I was very scared about this, but I did it anyway and boy am I glad I did. This dress looks great hugs in all the right places (I am a size 24) and is so light! I feel like could dance all night in it, perfect for my May 2011 wedding. I used the measuring chart and it fit everywhere but the sleeves, but this was not a problem I took it into DB and they only charged me $20 to fix them and if you order online you get a free steam and press on your dress and tons of coupons. Don't be intimidated about the box it comes in, it looks small, but boy does it open up. Also, if worse comes to worse they have an awesome return policy, though I did not need this. Ladies be scared no more, DB does not disappoint with this dress!"

"I've had 3 different appointments in the store and tried on so many dresses. This one was everything I wanted and dreamed of in a dress. I'm a larger woman, very busty and curvy and it hugs in all the right places while keeping my girls in place, also having the skirt style I wanted. It has the slight fit and flare that they don't usually have for a plus size woman. The price is also amazing, I couldn't see spending hundreds of dollars on a dress I would only wear for 5-6 hours to then store away never to be seen again."

"I ordered this dress along with several others online... this was my least favorite of the dresses based on the pictures, but when they came and I tried them on.. it was gorgeous!! I love it.. and decided to keep it and send the others back..... Perfect for outdoor or beach wedding!!! I am a size 16.. and it was very slimming in the bust and back area!! I would definitely recommend trying it!!"
