"I was so happy to have read the other reviews. I normally wear a 7/8 and I ordered a 10. It fit really well. it was a little long for me, however I am REALLY short. The flower was a little ugly to me in person, but a cute assessory at a distance.
These aren't the best pics, but they didn't do a bunch of pics of the wedding party."

"The dress was very true to the size I needed. I didn't think it ran small. It was really the size I needed.
I thought the bow looked like a Christmas bow. It wasn't as bad as I thought. It looked like a true flower when I saw it in person.
I didn't like the pleating on the bust. I think it make the chest look big."

"This dress is beautiful and looks just how the picture shows it however, it does run extremely small in the midsection/bust so go at least one size up than you usually do. I have a 13 yr old bridesmaid who normally wears a sz 0 and she had to exchage her dress for a 4 which fit perfectly. I would recommned this dress to other bridesmaids!"

"The Pros:
1. For 2nd trimester maternity, this was just great. I had no problem with the boning or interior construction. Plenty of room, and this is my 4th baby, so I'm not tiny.
2. Rich, pretty color selection. (Clover, in my case.)
3. Fabric draped nicely.
The Cons:
1. Despite measuring multiple times, reading reviews, and following the David's Bridal Measuring Guide, this dress was still too big for me. I am a busty girl, and I didn't fill it out. (Maybe more of a problem for plus size girls than smaller ones? Just a thought.)
2. I'm 5'6" and it was too long on me. Plan to have it hemmed.
3. Construction was adequate, but the quality just wasn't the best. I can't see it holding up to being worn more than once or twice.
4. On a plus size girl, it can just look a bit...tent-ish."

"This dress is exactly as shown. The fit is just right and the color is beautiful. I ordered this in Lapis. The dress is very flattering. The flower is actually very pretty too. I had concerns about how it would look but I like the flower. It is removable and my bride is planning on replacing it with a broach. I love this dress and plan on wearing it again to a military ball!"

"I wore this dress in my brother's wedding thi spast weekend. I am normally a size 0 so I ordered a size 2. I read the reviews to see what size to order and since I am not top heavy AT ALL, I ordered a 2. When I received the dress, I couldn't even zip it up! It was entirely too long as well. I had to take it to get altered to see if they would be able to take it out any. The seamstress was able to zip it w/o having to take it out some, however I was MISERABLE the whole time. My back hurt during the whole ceremony."

"I really love the fabric of this dress as well as the color I ordered it in (Lapis). It fits wonderfully but I ordered it a size up, so it likely runs small! The support is great for fuller chests like mine, I don't even need to wear any additional supports!"

"I have to say that when I purchased this dress, I wasn"t sure it would get to me on time and that it would not look anything like the picture. Fortunatelly, I was wrong on both counts! The fit style and colour(pool) was exactly as described! It was very comfortable and light and I got a lot of compliments! I was very happy to let people know where I purchased this gorgeous dress. "This dress was beautiful, the flower and the flow of the dress, however it is completely not maternity appropriate as it claims. I wish you could try this dress on in the store so that you know it will not work out if you are looking for a maternity dress. The boning came down too low, it was covering the belly, rather than being more of an empire waist."

"I do feel pretty and elegant in this dress. It hangs very nicely and the fabric feels good. It's 100X better than this other hideous dress I had to buy from David's that was cotton/sateen and shapeless. But I was a 2 in that one and I had to get a 4 in this, like a lot of other reviews have said. Especially if you have a larger breast! It fits VERY tight, so I doubt I will even be able to wear a strapless bra. I have this in Wisteria, and I think it's a very pretty color."

"I ordered the lapis in a size 16. Right away I was nervous b/c I'm a bigger girl and its strapless but when I tried it on the color and the flow of the dress looked beautiful. It accented the curves in just the right places."

"This dress is pretty, but the lack of a proper waist is a little off-putting. I feel really huge in it, but that might just be me. The material is good for warm weather weddings, and the length is very elegant (I always think longer dresses look more formal than short ones).
About the sizing, because I see people have commented a lot on it... I normally wear a size 10 dress. I am 5'8, weigh around 150-155 lbs., and have a pretty full bust. Not huge, but I have boobs (36C). I had to return the 10 and get the next largest size (a 12). The material has no elasticity. Aside from the zipper, there is an inner clasp that fastens the bust in place. Three clasp sizes offered to adjust, but it can make the top a little snug.
If you are slender or small-framed, I am sure you will have no problem ordering the dress in your normal (actual) size. More voluptuous or curvier ladies (such as I) may want to consider getting a larger size and altering if necessary, especially considering the DB return policy makes you pay for shipping."

"After reading all the reviews about how this dress ran small I decided to contact customer service to get their advice before ordering (I dislike having to return things). They advised me to order my true size. I'm glad I did, if I had ordered up a size the dress would have been too large on me. I'm a size 14 by their size charts, wear C cup and the size 14 dress fits perfectly. And I love the dress on, it will be perfect for my wedding!"

"I bought this for my best friend's wedding and was so pleased! It doesn't look that great on the hanger, but I was satisfied once I put it on. It can work for different occasions.
Note: I wonder if some people are vanity sizing. I am a 2 and decided to get a 4 because of the reviews. The bust is NOT small. I'm going to have to get it altered because the dress is too big and there won't be enough time to send it back. I really think you should go by your true size."

"This dress feels amazing! I am a size 2 or 4 in david's bridal dresses and I had to go with a size 4 due to the small bust area (I'm a B/C bra size). There is no need to wear a bra with this dress since there is a clasp in the inside for bust/waist area. I would recommend going with the bigger size if you are in between :) I am wearing it with the flower but it looks awesome without.

"This is a beautiful dress - my bridesmaids are wearing it in red (without the flower) - but the bust is cut VERY small. Two regular size 8 bridesmaids had to return theirs - one of them twice - to get the right size. And neither one of them are Dolly Parton, as one put it...One is now wearing a 12 and the other a 14. Order the dress, but go up a size or two, ladies."

"I almost felt guilty for how great I felt in this dress and it wasn't even my wedding day. There is a bra-like clasp on the inside for extra support and cinching at the waist. I'm a B/C bra size and I didn't need to wear a bra with it. I wore it with the flower...but it looks great without it, too!"
