"I just brought this dress home and its amazing. The seamstress added straps for me because I didn't like strapless dresses. The straps made it feel like a totally different dress (In a good way!) Im so excited to wear it on my wedding day. The picture doesn't do it justice like other people say and im glad I decided to try it on! The pearls and sequins on the dress are so elegant and make the dress feel like its from another decade! Thanks for the wonderful job DB!"

"I absolutely love this dress - but had a little buyer's remorse after I got it home. I had to have it altered and even then I felt like I was going to be concerned that I would have to tug on it to keep it up during our big day. I then added satin straps 4 days before the wedding and an ivory satin sash for a little more bling. After those two additions, I never wanted to take it off! It was PERFECT for our day, slender fitting around my curves and full of lace, pearls and sequins. I never had to adjust it, not one time. It is such a feminine, classy and sexy dress. I love it so much!"

"I agree with a lot of others that the pictures on the website and in the catalog just don't do this dress justice. I love the delicate pearl and sequin detailing on this dress. We are getting married on the beach next week and I wanted a simple, classic and elegant dress and this one is perfect. I tried on about 12 dresses and even though some others were really pretty...this one fit my figure wonderfully without need for alterations! I did have a permanent bustle put in and put buttons down the back. I also made a champagne color sash that ties in the back...and purchased a lace bolero to wear with it. Lovely dress, I can't wait to wear it for our wedding!!"

"I recently went to davids bridal and had several favorites saved. The lady asked me what I wanted and she came back with a couple different dresses. I tried this one on and I instantly knew it was the one . My grandma and I started crying . The pictures dont do this dress justice. The beading is so beautiful. This dress is just an elegant girlie dress!"

"I only tried on 3 or 4 wedding dresses, and I knew this was the one as soon as I put it on. This dress seems to be perfect for all shapes and sizes, and it gives the bride a nice hour-glass shape! I love the detailed beading, it looks so luxurious and expensive! I love the vintage look of this dress in ivory, and it was exactly what I was going for with my elegant but simple winter wedding. Before and after the wedding I wore it with the faux fur capelet, which added to the vintage winter theme. My shoes, jewelery, and undergarments were all from David's Bridal as well, and all coordinated very well with this gown.
The only down side was that it seemed to be almost see-through. You really have to wear a full-length bra and slip with it. Also, the satin layer seemed to bunch up a little bit under the bust. All in all, though, this was my dream wedding dress and I am so happy I chose it!"

"This dress absolutely beautiful, it is very intricate and has a vintage feel to it. The dress is also very light, perfect for an outdoor wedding. I decided to use a fit and flare slip that gave the dress some shape but did not make it heavy, and it help to balance out my hips."

"I went to my Davids Appt w/ my print out of the dresses I wanted to try on in November. From watching say yes to the dress I pick out dresses I wounld not pick out for myself but wanted to leave all options open. I'm getting married on the beach so I saw myself in a short dress because I'm so little (5"1). The one I really wanted they did not have in the store. Every dress I tried on was a flop because I kept thinking of the short dress. It was time for my last dress.. I didn't even want to try it on. My MOH talked me in to it. And my family was shocked. My dad said "all those other dresses keeps you looking like a little girl... this dress makes you look like a women." I cryied... fell in love and now I can't what to walk down the beach in it."

"I initially read all of the other reviews on this dress before my visit to DB and put it on my "maybe" list as everyone swears the picture doesn't do it justice and I wasn't wowed by the picture. I actually tried this on and bought it without even realizing it was the same dress I had viewed online earlier. It fits like a glove and has a very flattering silhouette. Watch out for the tummy area though, it's a bit unforgiving, but nothing some industrial strength shaping undergarments and some extra time on the treadmill can't fix. The beading and lacework is gorgeous and it definitely looks like it should have cost a lot more than it did. This dress is perfect for my outdoor ceremony and fits the vintage glam style I was going for. Do yourself a favor and make it a point to try this dress on."

"Picture online does NOT do justice. I have no idea why David's Bridal had this model sit.. The dress looks and FEELS beautiful. It is light and elegant. Lace + Pearls= Wow and classy, not over the top but simply beautiful. I felt like a bride!
I did wear a slip underneath that made the bottom go out and shape similarly to what a trumpet (a milder mermaid) silhouette would look like. It showed off my curves and still had enough room to move my legs and sit, and light enough to dance.

My mother-in-law prevented me from settling with the first dress I tried knowing I was choosing it because it was way cheaper. She secretly told one of my bridesmaid to go find dresses with lace because that is what I wanted and I immediately tried it on. It was the dress, for me, that made me believe and understand how brides "know" when they have found this dress.

"I fell in love with this gown immediately the first time I saw it here on the website. It just has this timeless elegance to it that I was looking for.
Just to make sure, I did try on a ball gown, something without lace and a flowy goddess-style gown... but knew immediately that this gown was the one for me.
It was so flattering, elegant, easy to wear, and everybody complimented me on it. Even though the wedding itself was a mess, I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful dress to get married in.
What I would like to say, though, is that the consultant said you always have to go at least a size bigger with wedding dresses. I am a size 6 and ended up purchasing a size 6. I did have to have it taken in a little, and the lady in alterations said I could have probably gotten away with a size 4, since I am kind of small-busted in comparison to the circumference of my hip/butt region."

"This dress was in my top 5 to try. It was the 3rd one I tried on and knew it was the one. I am only 5'2" and it enhances my body in all the right places. My maid of honor, my daughter, said it was the one too. It feels and looks like a dress for a Princess. I feel both elegant and very beautiful in it. It is even more beautiful in person."

"this gown wasn't even in my top 10 but it was the one i ended up taking home. in ivory, the embellishment just makes the dress shimmer without outshining the lace or your figure. i was originally opposed to strapless, but fortunately the neckline is high and secure so the overall effect is quite modest. the train is the perfect length for an outdoor or informal ceremony. i tried it on with db's lace bolero jacket (i will have one made from my own lace) and birdcage blusher and felt gorgeous and classy, like grace kelly. i can't wait for my soon-to-be husband to see it!"

"When I was dress shopping with my sister and bridesmaids, she was helping dress into the 6 I had chosen in my favorites. As my Maid of Honor, she told me she would get my dresses for me while I was in the changing room, then asked which one to get first. I didn't know which one I should try on first, so I asked her to pick one and bring it in. She brought in this dress, and when I came out to show everyone, they were stunned by how beautiful it looked, and how I looked in it. When I saw myself I immediately started getting emotional and bluched by how good it felt to be in it. Of course, I had to try on the other dresses, but in the end the first dress and first pick became the final choice. My sister has great taste, and I love this dress. I will be wearing this dress in March 2012 and can't wait to suprise my future husband down the aisle.

"My daughter pointed this dress out to me at the end of a very long Sunday afternoon of dress shopping, the girls (my bridesmaids) knew immediatly that this was my dress and I was able to take it home from the store that day. I made a significant alteration to the neck line from a strait across strapless to a sweatheart style strapless, and I could not love this dress anymore than I do. The dress is figure flattering, with the delicate beading and irridesent sequins. LOVED IT."

"This was the first dress I tried on and no other ones made me feel so elegant as this one did. I didn't want the traditional big gown, not my style so I began looking online for other ones. I knew I wanted to try this one on in the store. I agree, I haven't seen a picture yet that does this dress justice. Its difficult to capture the intricate beading and sparkle that this dress gives off in person. I had to order the ivory color one due to time restraints but it appears white unless you hold it up against something super white. My husband wore an ivory shirt and vest, as well as the groomsmen had an ivory shirt so nothing was noticeable. No one could even tell. But this is a WONDERFUL DRESS! I had so many compliments on how elegant it was. Such a precious day and I had the perfect dress to go along with it! So, if you're thinking about it, try it on!"
