"After my engagement, I decided to peruse the David’s Bridal website just to see what my options would be. This gown was probably the 5th that I came across and after looking at 75-100 I knew this would be the ONE. I made up in my mind to make an appointment to try on gowns with my mother and best friend. Due to conflicts in our schedules, the appointment was made a few weeks out. Days went by and I could not get this dress out of my mind. On a Tuesday morning, one of my clients convinced me to go try the gown on. This way my mind would be at ease as to whether or not this was it. And that is exactly what I did. As soon as her session was over I hopped in my car and headed for David’s Bridal. The girl at the store was shocked when I told her that I was there just to try on one bridal gown. I explained how I convinced myself that this was not going to be the day I pick my dress. Remember, I already had the appointment to go with my mother and sister within 10 days. The sales agent went looking for the gown and came back with the only one they had in their store. As I walked back to the dressing room my mind began to wonder. “What if it does not look as beautiful on as it did online?” “What if it doesn’t fit?” The sales agent came into the room with me and we began. To my surprise it was a perfect fit. Now, the only thing left to do was walk out of the room and look into the mirror. As I stepped out heads immediately began to turn in my direction. I turned to face the mirror and as soon as I saw my reflection tears began to roll up in my eye. WOW!! Yes, wow was the only thing I remember saying and hearing from those standing around. I could not believe that the one and only gown that I tried on was THE ONE! Needless to say I bought the gown that day and will be wearing down the aisle in 35 day to marry the love of my life."

"I went in to Davids Bridal just wanting to look and see what styles i like and what looked good on me, as i have never even looked at wedding gowns before and had no desire to. I tried this one on at the urging of my best freind. I thought it was pretty but not quite my style. It was the first one i tried on and i was in LOVE! I tried on several other dress cause certainly the first dress i try on cant be "The Dress" , well i was proven wrong! It is the dress for me and i am so lucky to have gotten it in my size! Step out of the box brides and try a different color! It is an amazing dress in the Champange color! It will go so well wtih my dark brown horse that i am riding to the altar on my wedding day!"

"This is one of the dresses I found online last week and thought it could be a contender. I had already tried on almost the entire store at the Eau Claire location which is the clossest to me and was getting discouraged because I couldn't find "the one". I had one that was on my favorites but there was something holding me back with that dress. I think it was parcially the price tag. Anyway I decided to make an appointment at a different location in MN that was fairly close (about 2 hours) and hoping they would have a few more of the dresses I was wanting to try on. I am one of the more popular sizes a 14 so it was getting hard to find a dress. I put this dress on my list and luckily they had it in my size. It was one of the last dresses I tried on yesterday. I was getting through all of the ones I tried on and really couldn't wait to put this one back on. I was down to three dresses that were contenders. This one and two others. I tried the other two one and then it was only down to this one and the one that I had liked from the Eau Claire location. I tried the other dress on first and there was just something not quite right. Then it was time to put this one on again...I put it on and looked at my mom and I could tell this was it. I looked in the mirror and started to cry. It is a beautiful color and works so well with my complection (which is the same as the women in the picture above) but I have dark hair and I think it really sets that off as well. I walked in the store with the dress on for a little while and I had herd a few women talking about the dress I had on. It was the last one in this size and it was mine. I brought it home yesterday and can't wait to ware it in October 2012 on my wedding day. I just hope my fiance will love the dress as much as I do...This is a beautiful dress, awesome quality, beautiful fabric, and the sash really sets off the waist. If you see it just try it! Oh, and the women who was helping me had her golden birthday this year only three days before me! It was the coolest thing and something I will never forget!"

"I have been looking for a couple months, and i saw this one online, i went into the store this past thursday and i tried it on,i loved it but it was a little tight, so my consultant told me she had good news and bad news, she said it was on sale but it was the last one so she said take the bra off, and sure enough it zipped right up and fit perfectly!! It was meant to be. So happy to have found the dress for my wedding in April!!"

"This is my dream wedding dress. There is such a crazy story to this dress.
My fiance is a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. After his basic training (Which they call Plebe Summer) his parents and I flew down there for what the academy calls "Plebe Parent Weekend". This was about 2 1/2 years ago. As we were walking down the street his mom and I saw this BEAUTIFUL designer gown in a small boutique downtown.
The designer gown was priced at about 8,000 dollars. Ha ha. Not going to happen. But I NEVER liked wedding gowns, I never even really thought about it... but this one was so different I knew I needed that dress. So we come back home after Parent's weekend and I was looking on David's Bridal for gowns (We were not even engaged yet!). Anyway, David's Bridal had a replica of this gown priced at 1,050 dollars. Perfect. Well, I wasn't engaged yet, so I clearly could not buy it and was hoping that they would still have the dress by the time I got engaged. So May 2011 rolls around... and Geoff proposes. I look on David's Bridal website and its gone!!! Discontinued. :( I was devastated. I actually cried that's how sad I was.
Three weeks ago I was on Skype with my younger sister and we're looking at the bridal gowns again and I'm asking for advice because I only pictured wearing the dress that was discontinued on my wedding day. So we're looking around and I SEE THAT DRESS!!! THEY BROUGHT IT BACK! AND... they reduced the price to $350! WHAT?!
Yesterday, I go to David's Bridal to try it on and of course they only have a size 14... I'm a size 4. Ha ha. But I try it on anyway. I knew it was going to be the one, but I also knew that if I only tried on that dress and purchased it without trying and others on I would get buyer's remorse and be wondering if maybe it wasn't the right dress because I did not know anything else. So, I tried on about 8 dress. Absolutely gorgeous dresses. I loved them... but they just were not the one. Then, I tried this one on last (in a size 14, that was clipped almost all the way around by body because it was so big on me). It was perfect. I walked out of the dressing room. My fiance's mom in tears, my mom in tears, my twin sister in tears, my younger sister in tears... and of course, I was in tears.
It gets better. Clearly, I am not going to purchase a size 14 dress. So the associate helping me had to check all 50 states to see if they had this dress in the color Ivory, in a size 4. Guess what state has it? Maryland.
It is the most beautiful, perfect dress. The dress I can't wait to wear on my wedding day and see the look on my fiance's face when I am walking down the aisle at the Naval Academy chapel. I could not be more happy. Long story... but it's my story. :)"

"This dress was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! I loved it and it is appropriate for Plus sized women! I wore it in champagne and latte which is wonderful for those of a darker complexion. I would recommend this dress and also recommend people stepping outside the box and trying an untraditional color. My husband had his doubts on how the colors would go with his brown tux until the door of the Wedding chapel opened! Everyone especially my husband loved this dress on me! It was very appropriate for our evening wedding in Las Vegas! This was a must have!"

"Today was my first day trying on wedding dresses. I wanted to find one that would be traditional but I can still feel sexy in. I looked around online and this was the last dress printed out and the first one I tried on. Once my grandmother seen it, she said it was my dress and when I tried it on I could see why. I couldn't believe how small and great I looked. This dress was definitely a steal and it was the last one available, so I knew it was meant for me to have. If anyone is iffy about this dress, it is a must have before its gone completely!!"

I have never liked the way I look in strapless tops, but put this one on the list anyway because I loved the champagne color. I tried it on last, and it was a lovely surprise. I had to have it. "I was so excited when I got engaged, but the moment wasn’t entirely happy... for my grandmother had passed away right after the engagement (not even 24 hours later). I went to the nearest Davids Bridal to just SEE what they had...it was inevitable though. I wanted a champagne colored gown that I could put a red sash around the waist. I saw this very dress on an effigy. It was being discontinued at the time but I asked the woman helping me if they had it in my size and believe it or not MY size was ALL they had in the champagne. We found a magnificent red sash with embroidering and beading. (Totally compliments the dress.) I have a taupe Mandarin collared bridesmaid jacket to wear over...it’s elegant and Victorian. (I'm marrying in autumn) The gown sways when you move, it is comfortable and I attribute the luck in finding it when I did, for the price I did and how it fit my vision perfect to my grandmother. I believe she was with me that day. I will be wearing my grandmothers champagne colored pearls in her honor and a veil from my husband-to-be’s side which is over 100 years old.
Anyway, I put the dress and the accessories on hold, it was going to be a while until the wedding but I knew if I didn't get it, I would loose it...my size is very common. My mother came with me the next day and lets just say she was not enthused; she thought it was silly to do it so soon. Until I tried it on for her. All the staff and other customers were flabbergasted...and then some women were asking for the dress from themselves, but the sales woman had to explain that the one on the effigy is a size 2 and what I was wearing was a 6 and those were the ONLY two left. My mother bought it all instantly. This luck wasn’t coincidental, that dress was made for me & I believe my Grandmother was there, helping along. I cant wait to wear it on the 13th of October 2012 when I marry my true love. Like I said this dress is a win, win. Its beautiful, comfortable and classic and I played it up with the red and the jacket. I would recommend it to any woman, and size or body type and I have NEVER seen a dress like it since."

"I went dress shopping in Alabama right after we got engaged. Overwhelmed with a low budget, yet wanting a elegant dress in champagne and on top of that I needed a certain size (14). I tried on every champagne dress in the store and the only one I kind of liked was too far out of my budget. I thought I would have to settle for a white dress and left the store discouraged. Later that week I saw this dress online and immediately jumped up to call Davids Bridal to find it. It was DESTINY. There were only 2 of these left in champagne. One in Birmingahm and the other in Missouri.. I called the store and asked her to hold the dress and informed the clerk I was in route from another city in Alabama. I arrived and tried on the dress. It was amazing! I felt and looked so beautiful in this dress. It was worth the drive and every penny I paid. My shaped looked spectacular, and I am So happy!! Can hardly wait to wear it to our wedding."
