Pretty, but not worth it!

"I LOVED these shoes from the moment I saw them! I bought them even before my dress. They were fine for trying on dresses, fittings etc. but I had to put another hole in them to make them tighter around the ankle. It still didn't help...they kept slipping off and were killing my feet the day of our wedding. I wore them for as long as I could (church & into the reception) but they were off as soon as we were announced!"

"Shoe was broken (missing buckle) when I received. I had to pay mail postage to return. Cost about $7.00 for Ground. Not happy that Davids Bridal wouldn't check their items before they send to customers. Espc knowing all that I've purchased with them."

"I have loved these shoes from the moment I laid eyes on them. I bought them for my wedding (June 2012), but now I'm worried about them staying on. I wish there was another strap or something, because they do slide off a bit. I may add a strap around the ankle. Still love them! They look better in person."

"I had the same problem with these shoes slipping off. I even had another hole put in on the strap but that didn't work either. They really are pretty shoes but were not very comfortable to walk on."

"I fell in love with the look of these online and in the store. Tried them on--and the strap does not stay on. I tried to walk around and I would get about 3 steps and every time the straps would slip off- I would not recommend these on a day when all eyes are on you-"

"I ordered these but ended up returning them back. After they arrived and I tried them on, I realized there was no way I would be comfortable walking down the aisle in these. The shoes are comfy, but the strap doesn't feel secure. It just doesn't hold the shoe in place."

"I loved these shoes so much been trying to find a really cute pink top so I can wear them again with some jeans!!! Mine r died as rose petal the color my bridesmaids wore and I had the same problem as the others with the strap falling off so I added some ribbon across the front of my foot to keep it on I used the same ribbon I used for all my favors it worked perfect to have both of my wedding colors on my shoes!!!"

"These shoes are just so gorgeous in person. I had planned on wearing only flip flops at my wedding because my feet scream in heals. I saw these on the shelf and I swear they were calling my name. Just for fun I asked if they had them in a 7 1/2. My consultant looked in the back and she said they didn't have my size but they had a 6 1/2 that I could try. I insisted that there was no way my foot would ever fit in a 6 1/2 but she said to try anyway, so I did. Much to my surprise they fit perfectly. They were SO comfortable and I walked all over the store and wore them while trying on dresses and never had a problem with the strap. I recommend going down a 1/2 to a whole size for this shoe to fit perfectly without a strap problem.
I would recommend these to any bride to be!"

"Like the other reviewers, the strap on this, while it looks great, is just TOO low to stay on. And there was no way I could go down a size and not have my toes hanging over the edge of the shoe.
But I was terrified to walk down the aisle with shoes that might trip me. Thanks to my quick-thinking cousin, we applied some of the fashion tape we were using to hold other things in place on my heel and they stayed put all evening and through plenty of dancing!"

"I wear a size 8.5-9 depending on the shoe style. I ordered these in a 8.5W and they fit really well overall, are comfortable even though they are pretty tall, and the only issue (and it is minor) is the strap like SO many other reviewers said. There is no way I could have gone down a half size or to a non-wide size on this shoe. The strap doesn't bother me that much at all and I only plan on wearing them once, anyways!"

"I tried these on in-store and was nervous about the sling back mentioned in other reviews. In my normal size (7.5), which I ALWAYS wear, the sling back would never have stayed on and the shoes were actually too big, but in a 7 on the tightest hole it was fine and the shoe fit nicely. I'm going to buy these and dye them lapis to match my bridesmaids. Thanks to the other reviewer who posted a pic of her blue shoes -- so cute! I hope to recreate her look but in purple! :)"

"I LOVED these shoes - they are gorgeous. But the strap kept coming off the back of my heel making it very difficult to walk. I even made additional holes to tighten the strap & the more I messed with the strap - the worse it looked. The strap almost started to fall apart & break. I threw them in the garbage right after the ceremony. I had to put flip flops on for the reception. Awful fit!"

"I chose this shoe because it was simply beautiful! I loved that it had a slight platform and a high heel... I needed all the help I could get! I'm 5'2" and my husband is almost a whole foot taller than me.
I decided to dye the shoes in "marine" to match the color sash I chose for my dress, and to match the bridesmaids dresses too. It is true: the dye is NOT water resistant. My wedding was on a yatch... and it rained! My feet got very wet, and they did get stained on the bottom, but my dress did not suffer any damage. I laughed it off tho, and it made for some great wedding pics :)"

"I went in a year ago to try on wedding dresses.While i was there i decied to put on a pair of heels.Just happend i put these on and I fell in love right away.I wore them for about two hours and not one twing of pain what so ever. "I debated for a while about getting these shoes to match my dress for a ball and finally decided to take the plunge. When I first opened the box I was bit taken back because the fabric was much shiner than expected. After trying on the shoes I thought they looked cute and would look even better dyed blue. However, I had a huge problem with the shoes; the strap did not secure the shoe to my foot. After tightening down the straps as far as they would go and taking a few steps around my living room, the shoes kept slipping off my heel. I decided that I did not want to feel like Cinderella all night and will be returning them and searching for a shoe that fits more securely to my foot. So instead of worrying about my shoes falling off all night, I can worry about dancing with the man of my dreams and charming him into falling in love with me so we can live happily ever after."
