"I had a small wedding in a little chapel in Gatlinburg Tennessee, so I was looking for something rather simple, without a train. I was a little worried at first because of the price, but once I received it and tried it on, it was perfect!! I reccommend getting a corset type strapless bra as this affects the fit GREATLY. The dress wouldn't zip up at all without it. I ordered it a size bigger than I wear in jeans. I also wore a volumizing petticoat underneath it, though I don't think that it absolutely needed it. It appears that in the picture for this item she is wearing one too.
My only complaint is that when I tried ordering a colored sash for the item, it wouldn't let me add it to the basket, nor would it tell me why. I ended up wearing the white one that came with it, which I ended up being very happy with:)
I am 5'9 or so and needed no alterations, though I had to wear flats or the dress would have been too short.
AND a big plus...as long as you don't get any alterations done outside DB, they will steam press it for you FOR FREE! Just drop it off to them and they will have it done in a couple of days. I reccommend buying their $10 garment bag at that time.

"This dress looks gorgeous online but not so great in person. First, there is a large gaping hole in the back from mid back to butt. I've called the manufacturer and it is made to be open back there. It shows the under zipper and ugly lining fabric.. not pretty. The bow is supposed to cover it but if you don't want to use the bow you'd have to sew it! Second this dress is not flattering around mid section. I am average size 6 and this dress needed to be taken in a ton around the waist although it fit everywhere else. Finally this dress was sent to me inside out, wrinkled up into a ball (hours of steaming would be needed), with NO sash, and smelled of someone's home. Oh and this dress has tacky belt loops! I sent it back."

"I tried on a similar dress in the store, but this one was almost $900 less and it is just as beautiful. I did get some rhinestones to make it look more exquisite, but for the price, it cannot be beat!"

"I ordered this dress a couple of weeks ago from the website because I fell in love with it. I haven't even tried any other dress before because I hadn't started to shop for this. When I saw the price, even with the shipping to Canada (it costed all in all about 350$), I thought it was a really good deal. I think the picture is really representative of the dress and I am not disappointed at all. I knew I would have to make some adjustments because I'm 5'3 and I don't fit in the "standards", but I based my choice on the size chart and it's really what I expected. I only need minor adjustments and it will be easy because the dress is quite simple.
I also ordered a sash in Horizon. The color is beautiful, but a lot darker than online. It really is more a royal blue. I still don't know if I'll use it or keep the beautiful white bow, but I will definitely use it as a starting point for the color of my wedding.
All in all, I'm really happy with my choice and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a simple but elegant dress."

"I had no idea what I wanted for a dress just knew something simple. Then I found this one and loved it and it also fit well. Without a sash I thought it was a little to plain, but my consultant put a white sash with a little beading on it and it was perfect. It is so comfy and I like that it does not have a train so it wont be as heavy during our reception. I can not wait until I get to wear it for the day!!!"

"I was on a time crunch and needed a dress for the wedding that was 2 weeks away. I purchased this online and was SO pleased! IT was perfect. I'm 5'3 so I had to get it hemmed up a tiny bit, but after that, it was perfect!! It fits nicely, easy to move in, and very classy! Also, it's a great price!"

"With such a tight budget, I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to find a gorgeous dress. My mom showed me this dress on David's Bridal's website, and I fell in love. And it was so affordable! So I ordered it, and it fit almost like a glove. I just needed a few alterations.
I'm moving to Japan, so originally I was going to rent a dress. But this dress is so light, I can take it with me. Many of my guests commented on how beautiful my dress was, when really, it was the first dress I tried and I bought it online! I never knew wedding dress shopping could be so easy.
I did trip a little when going up a few steps of the church's stage. As a ball gown dress, I was expecting to be able to hold my dress up to walk, but forgot that I would be holding flowers or holding onto someone's arm. So practice walking up steps if there are anything before your big day.
Note: I did not wear a slip under my dress. With a slip, your dress might be poofier."

"I am not getting married, not for a few more years, but I participated last February in a Debutante Ball by the 43/77 Hungarian Scout Troop of San Francisco. 16 year-old Hungarian girls learn to waltz and perform in front of almost 300 people. I looked high and low for a white ball gown, finally deciding to order this one online. The size 12 fit me perfectly, even lengthwise, and I'm 5'11"! Except for adding lace straps (so no mishaps could occur) no alterations were made. Everyone commented that my dress was the crowd favorite. I'm once again dancing this year, and will be wearing this beautiful dress again!"

"I saw this dress online and I knew it was the one. I ordered the sash in watermelon and it just added just a little touch of color that I was looking for. When the dress arrived to my house I was so excited to finally try it on. I ordered a size 4 and it is a little big but its an easy fix. "I went to David's Bridal to try on dresses and found one that I really liked, but it was almost $400. I went online and found this dress, which was almost exactly like the one in the store. I ordered it and received it within 4 days. Took the dress to David's Bridal and had the alterations done. It looks BEAUTIFUL! The dress is simple, yet elegant. And for the price, WOW! My only problem was the alteration- it cost more than the dress. But I guess that is pretty normal. We are having a destination wedding in Mexico on October 10, 2010, and this dress is absolutely PERFECT for the occasion. I can't wait!!"

When i first tried on the dress i was excited, but not to much because it wasn't as puffy as i thought, but once i bought a slip and tried it on i felt so good about my dress. I thought i would want the color sash for my wedding, but the white bow is SOOOOO pretty already and you can put it in the back or the front or which ever!
I am very happy about my dress and i can't wait to wear it, it is simple but very elegent and its more puffy in the person then the pictures show you!"

"I was nervous about ordering this dress online without actually trying it on first. I did go into a David's Bridal store to try on the prom version (which was brown...eww), and was wary. The dress was exactly what I was looking for...simple and clean. I bought a beaded ribbon in the store that matched my bridesmaids' dresses (the ribbon was about 1/2 the cost of the dress). Overall, very pleased with the purchase. And the price...when I told people how much I paid for this dress, they were shocked. Altering was necessary for me (in the bust), but it fit like a glove everywhere else."

"This simple but embellished ball gown was absolutely stunning (especially for the price)! It fit me almost perfectly straight out of the box. I had to have it tailored in a few spots to make it even better fitting but it would have looked gorgeous even if I hadn't. The sash/bow in the back was probably my favorite thing about it. I felt like a princess from the moment I slipped it on and throughout my big day. What a beautiful dress.. I just wish I could wear it again/more often! :D"

"I bought this dress online, I tried one one like it in the store, however it was more expensive. I was very pleased with this dress once it arrived. It arrived right when it was supposed to. I bought a different sash to wear with this dress, however the one it comes with is nice. I just wanted a sash that hung down in the back more. I am very pleased. I am getting married in May and am so anxious to wear the dress. I'm not sure which slip to wear with it though...it has nice fullness, but I think I want a little more. Any suggestions from those of you who have already worn the dress? Which slip did you decide to use? Thanks!!!! :)"
