Just follow the easy instructions included in your kit and your dress will be cleaned, preserved, and returned to you in three weeks. Once you purchase the kit, you will not have to pay any additional shipping charges (the entire process is prepaid)! You may also send accessories to include with the gown, such as your veil, headpiece, garter, etc. (additional fees may apply). Your gown (and veil, if included) will be beautifully displayed in the front window of the presentation chest. "As much as I love David's Bridal, I did not purchase my gown through them. I still wanted to preserve my gown though and found out I could still use their preservation service! It cost me far less than it would have at a dry cleaner's merely to clean it, let alone all the preservation and insurance value. It was easy to package up and ship from my local DB store, and even though I didn't purchase the upgrade I got it back in two weeks! That was a very pleasant surprise! I don't want to break the shrink wrapped seal around the box to thoroughly inspect my gown but it looks pristine (and my gown was 100% silk!). My only complaint that deterred giving it five stars was that the box it came back in is far bigger than I expected and standard cardboard box cardboard (not as pretty as in the advertised photo). Yes it will "fit under a bed" or in a closet but it is bulky and takes up a fair amount of space (about 31"h x 17"w x 9"d). I don't know if they use different sizes for different gowns but mine was not a huge ballgown by any means and could have been packaged more efficiently. Aside from that I would HIGHLY recommend this for any bride that wants to keep her treasured dress safe and clean for many years to come."

"After the wedding, I wanted to find a place where I could take my gown to be preserved. I received a email notifying me that David Bridal handles this service as well. So I gave it a try. It is simple to do. Order online, package comes, pack your dress, fill out a couple of forms and then send it back. The tape that came with the box did not work, so I used tape that was lying around my home. I dropped my dress off at the Davids Bridal store where I purchased all the other items for my wedding. In about a couple of weeks I received my dress in a preservation box. You can not open the box (it will ruin the preservation), so I can not give a review on the quality of the cleaning. But overall, this is a good bargain and time saver."

"I had to write a review to help all those that are contemplating using this service. Yesterday I opened the box where my gown was preserved for the first time after 10 years. I was afraid of finding stains or something that would disappoint me but to my surprise, the gown was in excellent shape. My wedding was in Puerto Rico and as part of the photo shoot we took some pictures by the beach. The train was dragged through sand and it was extremely dirty. Someone also spilled a Cape Cod cocktail (vodka/cranberry) on the dress and that was gone as well. My dress was packaged in such way that it came out of the box ready to be worn to another wedding. The color was bright, as if it were new. I was very impressed. This was 10 years ago, and at the time I believed I paid $99 for the service. But now that I know how well the gown was preserved, I would pay twice as much if I had to do it again. Hopefully my daughter or someone in my family will be able to wear it one day. :) Highly recommended!"

"This is such a great process! It was so easy to order, it was a great price, the materials that came were very clear to understand, I packed up my dress and sent it out, then I got the dress back looking clean and perfect and beautiful! That dress would still be hanging on my door had I not done this. I know my friends just have theirs sitting around, I will get this as a shower gift that I have coming up this spring!"

"I would recommend buying this product when you buy your dress, much cheaper. I waited until after my wedding. I received it on Monday, 11/7/11, packaged it up and followed there simple easy to follow instructions, mailed it back out on Tuesday, 11/8/11. I just received it today, Tuesday, 12/13/11, so it took them 5 weeks. I ended paying a little over $200 with shipping and taxes but its cleaned(hopefully) and packaged so I can easily store it away. It looks great from what I can see. I wish I would have put my veil and crown in there too, it would have looked really cute. Every piece you want to add to the box, costs extra. Veil/Headpiece costs $15, slip is $20 and etc. I would definitly recommend this product to anyone!"

"I knew I wanted to get my gown preserved but wasn't so sure about buying this package just because my gown had to get shipped in a box. Packing the dress had very easy to follow instructions and everything was giving. I sent it away and withing 3 weeks it got delivered back to my house. When i opened it was speechless. My dress was displayed beautifully!!! <3"

"I was a little nervous about this process but I did want my dress nice and clean to put away so I decided to use the service. I received my dress back in 2 weeks. That was super fast! The dress looks very nice in the box with my veil and garter. I also sent my slip which is somewhere underneath the dress. I recommend to use the service. I gave it 4 hearts because you can see some of the sewing stitches they used to keep the bow of my dress in place."

"I recently got married and wasn't sure what to do with my dress. David's Bridal had a 50% off deal so I purchased the preservation kit and am so far very pleased with the whole process. It was easy to pack up and ship off. I had the dress back in about a month and it looks great. The only hold up is that you can't see the entire dress. I had some dirt marks at the bottom and I am not sure if they were able to get them out or not.
I would highly recommend the kit, especially if you are unsure of what to do with your dress. It was really reasonably priced and if I decide to donate, sell or keep, the dress will be ready to go."

"After purchasing my gown in February 2010 for my wedding in December 2010, I opted to get the preservation kit. And since my wedding, I was very hesitant to send it off... It had become a big part of my closet, and I loved being able to put it on at any time. I had also heard of so many horrible stories about the preservation process, I was willing to just keep it in the bag, and go on with my every day...
Finally, I decided to send it off, and I am SOOOO HAPPPPYYY with the return product!!! I had them also preserve my some extras like my veil and bra and what not... But I also opted for the upgrade to the package... I am so happy that I did, and I couldnt' be more happY! I sent my dress off on May 3, 2011.. I received it in the mail today, MAY 12 2011!!! I cannot believe that the turnaround was so quick! I am very happy with this product, and I hope that you will be too.. I am unsure about how the non-upgraded version is, but I am happy with the upgrade!

"I got married in 2007 and put off having my dress cleaned and perserved til 2011. there were Many sugar stains and red coloring on my dress. I purchased my davids bridal preservation kit and was hoping for the best.I received my gown 2 weeks later beautifully cleaned and perserved just like I got married yesterday.. They did a wonderful job and the amount I paid was very cheap for the job they did.. I highly recommend this to every bride who wants to save their dress for their daughters in the future. My daughter will wear this dress with pride now!"

"I was a little worried about purchasing this kit, but after checking out local cleaners and their prices for everything same thing, David's was by far the best price. I sent my $1,400 Oleg dress, veil, and garter to be cleaned and packaged together. It took about 10 days for me to get everything back and it was perfect!!! Everything looks great in the box and now I have my memories preserved. I would highly recommend this to anyone - it was great service and quality. I know its hard to trust sight unseen, but if I hadn't done this I wouldn't have been able to get my dress preserved - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"I am glad I purchased the preservation kit. I felt that it was a good way to get my dress cleaned properly (without me worrying that it would be destroyed) and it would be much easier to store in a box as opposed to a bag in the closet. My wedding was in June, but I sent it in in October. It was the busy season for them but was returned to me within 4 weeks. The only thing I was disappointed in was the amount of dress that you could see. I felt they may have rushed and that they could have arranged the dress better in the box. Even though it wasn't a "poofy" dress I think they could have done more with the material that was there and really showed off the fabric. Also the sash wasn't quite in the right place. I'm glad I bought the kit because now it is preserved properly, but I wish they had taken more time with making it look spectacular in the box."

"After spending money on your dress and veil you definitely want it cleaned and displayed so that you can enjoy it for years to come. This kit has easy to follow instruction to package and send your dress out and a fast turn around to get your dress back.
