"I ordered this dress for my upcoming casual park wedding in June. It is perfect! The dress is light and it flows beautifully. The beading detail is just perfect and not over the top. I did not want anything too crazy, just very simple. The bead detail is just enough to give it a beautiful, simple touch of beauty without being too much.
Sizing....I measured and measured and was surprised when I found my sizes on the chart. I normally wear a size 12 jean. Two of my measurements were in a 16 and the other was in a 14! I figured I measured wrong and ordered a 14 since that was a size up from my normal size and all of the comments said to order a size up. I was wrong. I ended up returning the 14 (which did not fit) and ordering the 16 which fits perfectly. The bust size is what is important here because just like all of the other comments said that bead trim has no give. My bust size was a 16 according to this size chart and the size 16 fits perfect. I did not have to order a size up from what I measured, but did order 2 sizes up from what I normally wear in a jean. The dress is terribly long (I am only 5' 4") and I will be wearing flats in the park so I will be hemming the dress a lot but other than that it is just perfect. The straps and bust area fit wonderfully.
I am so happy with ordering from David's Bridal. Anyone wondering whether they should order from this company, they ship fast and the dresses are wonderful! I ordered my dress on Friday and had it Wednesday! They were very helpful and understanding with my return and that went very smooth as well.
I cannot wait to wear my dress! So pretty and everyone who has seen it agrees. It's just perfect. Thank you David's Bridal!"

Perfect Dress for Beach Wedding!

"Purchased dress for a very small budget, beach wedding. I am very happy with the dress other than what I had expected to have to have alterated thanks to several reviews I had read on here. Definitely expect to have to alter dress for both length and/or under the bust beaded waistband for those of us that are curvy girls. The dress itself fits everywhere perfectly except that the beaded waistband was just as others had stated, tight to the point that you can barely breathe. I am a size 12-14 with pants/jeans and a L for tops, size 38B. I did just as others had said to do, I measured myself, went by the chart and went a size up & ordered a 16 misses. If I had gotten an 18, I wouldn't have properly filled the bust & would have been swimming in the rest. Thankfully I found an awesome seamstress that worked me in to her very busy prom & wedding season schedule. For only $105, she is hemming the front(leaving the back longer) and letting out the waistband area so I can at least breathe during our wedding.(no charge for pressing it!) If we were having a reception with dancing, she wanted to bustle the back too so that no one would step on it or that I would trip on it. Not a necessity for me, as we are just having a small dinner after ceremony. Overall a great purchase and at this price is a great dress for those of us that are more practical or having a simple wedding &/or beach wedding."

"We eloped to Las Vegas and this dress was perfect!
Follow the sizing chart - it's totally accurate. I was so pleased this dress fit my bust without alteration (that's rare for me!). Looking at the model, I was worried it was going to be too poofy in the front / stomach area and I would look like I was hiding a pregnancy!! - but in real life, it doesn't look like that at all.
It is pretty long. I'm 5'6" and I had to have a few inches hemmed off. The seamstress pointed out it does have a bit of a train - she said it's about 4" longer in back than the front - and it doesn't say that in the description, so head's up! I had it hemmed evenly all around.
All in all, it was cute, flowy, and got lots of compliments."

"I'm a size 10, and got the 12. It fits perfect. I am 5'2 and it needs to be shortened even with 4'' heels. Beware: It is see through. I read a few comments that had mentioned this, but since the majority didn't, I went ahead and bought it. I might have to get an additional slip. It looks like I can get away with it, but in the natural sunlight, I'm not so sure. And it does fit snug in the top if your bust is bigger. This dress is for one of my two ceremonies. It's meant not to come off too much like a extravegant wedding dress which I saved for the "Main" ceremony. All in all, a good buy."

"I love this dress, it is very flowy and light. Perfect for a destination wedding.
My husband and I had our wedding vow renewal last week in Ixtapa, Mexico. I got a lot of compliments on my dress. The straps on the back are very sexy.
I'm size 4 and 5.2" tall. Since I knew dresses come usually very small I ordered size 8. It fit perfectly, no need to have any type of alterations. The only thing is that because I'm too short I had to get it shorten by a proffessional seemdress.
I requested the seemdress to leave the front a little shorter than the back just as the model shows this dress on the picture. Also, I got fitted on barefoot because I wanted to wear my barefoot sandals (feet jewerly) during pictures and ceremony on the beach.
Since the weather was too hot and my feet were very swolen, my heals broke after five minutes having them on. So I ended wearing my barefoot sandals the whole time (great back up) I was very confortable and they match my dress and the rest of my accesories.
Great dress for the value."

"My husband and I eloped in an outdoor ceremony in the mountains of NC. I wanted something affordable, ethereal and that would fit a forest wedding, and this dress was perfect. It really is great for every body type. I appreciated not having to suck in my tummy for pictures since the empire waist allows for a flowing, comfortable fit over the body. I'll never forget how the dress felt, it was like wearing liquid satin. The beaded waistband is exquisite and can only be fully appreciated in person.
I did have some issues with the fit but those were mostly my fault. I'm only 5'3 so the dress had to be hemmed A LOT, and I lost weight between purchasing the dress and the wedding so I had to have the straps adjusted to keep the bust where it needed. And being on the petite side there was a fair amount of padding involved since the dress is made to fit larger bust sizes. But in the end it looked wonderful and I felt like a fairy tale princess of for a day."

"This dress is beautiful. Ordered this for my 12 year old daughter's Christmas cotillion dance. The top fit perfectly. Definately need to follow the measurements on the fitting guide. It will need to be hemmed, but not a huge amount. This dress is well worth the money. Love it!"

"For all of those Brides to be that are on a budget but want to feel & look beautiful go for this dress! I searched through EVERY dress on this site till I chose this one and so happy I did. I'm a 38 C/D and my size 12 fit perfectly! I'm usually an 8/10 street size but with this dress its more important that you go off of the measuremebt charts for an accurate fit. If you choose this dress I hope you love it as much as I do."

"I purchased this gown for my outdoor wedding last year. During part of the ceremony we were in canoes, so I needed a gown without a train; which was hard to find. I liked the lightness of the material, the simple lines and details. I'm 5'8" and about 135 lbs., ended up getting a size 4 which fit perfectly. No complaints other than the gown was rather long and I had to have about 4 inches removed from the bottom so the hem hit just below my ankles. Was very pleased with my purchase!"

"I purchased this dress online after my original gown from a different company cancelled my order 5 weeks before my wedding due to bankruptcy!! I expedited shipping for obvious reasons and it was on my porch the next day!! True to size, gorgeous and simply elegant once hemmed!! Things happen for a reason, and I'm happier with this dress!"

"Im getting married in Las Vegas and being my second marrige I didnt want anything too formal. This dress is absolutely perfect. I ordered according to size chart and its a perfect fit...just needed to have it hemmed as Im a bit short. The beading is just enough without being too dramatic..cant wait to wear it in August!!!!! If you are looking for a beach type dress this is perfect!!!!"

"Bought this dress for my beach wedding this July. Definitely on the long side - I am 5'6" and need to have 4" taken off the bottom. Other than that, the dress fit perfectly. I tried many other more casual wedding dresses and this one was absolutely the best!!"

"I don't want this to seem like a negative review, but a helpful one to prospective buyers. I had tried this dress on previously as a bridesmaid dress in my regular size of 14 and it fit although it was a bit snug in the bust area. I will be 6 months pregnant by the time I need this for my wedding so I ordered a size larger and found the same fit in the bust, but the under layer was too tight and I had not anticipated this based on previous fit and dress description. I love the dress and think it will be perfect for my July wedding, but I will definitely need to return this one, order a womens size and have some alterations done in the top and strap area."

"I just purchased this dress for my wedding in August, and the arrival rate was phenomenal!!! It was here within 7 working days!!! I really am happy with this dress. i am not a "dress" type person and this dress is very elegant, but casual and comfortable! The beading is beautiful and you cannot appreciate it online. i was very nervous ordering something on line, especially my wedding dress...but the price was right and I am so glad I did. It is a bit long and it will have to be hemmed, but I knew that after reading the previous reviews. I would recommend sticking to the chart..it seems to be accurate. I am usually in a 12, but the chart said for me to get a 14...and it fits perfectly!! i would recommend this product and David's bridal for anyone interested..this was an excellent experience...Thank you David's Bridal!!:)"

"I love this dress. I went to six different bridal gown shops and couldn't find a dress that I loved and didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Before I went shopping I found dresses online that cost under $200 so when I went to the stores I couldn't believe I couldn't find a dress under $200.00. I didn't want to spend over $300 all together (including alterations). I was depressed that I couldn't find anything, I went back home and went online to Davidsbridal.com and found this dress. I was a little nervous that it wouldnt fit and I would have to get alterations done but I took the chance and ordered it online without trying it on. I knew you could return the item if you didn't like it. But to my surprise the dress fit me perfect. I didnt have to change a thing. It was a little long but when I put on heels it was perfect. "Love love love this dress. So great that I could get it online. Like other reviewers said, you need to order at least one size bigger than your normal size as the band around the bust can be tight. The length was a minor issue. I am 5'8" and with 2 3/4" heels it was still just a little long (outdoor wedding so I didn't want it touching ground). I was able to get a seamstress to take it up an inch. You can't really shorten the straps as that would put the bodice too high up under your armpits- ouch. Style is very forgiving for not-so-toned tummies. I am going to wear an open weave shrug sweater over it to hide my flabby arms. Dress is classy without being flashy."

"I read the reviews before deciding on this dress and I couldn't be happier with my choice. We're having a simple, outdoor garden wedding and this style was just perfect. I tried on a few gowns in a David's bridal store but none were exactly my tastes. I am a very simple person and did not want to spend $300+ on a wedding dress. This dress is the best of both worlds, it is stunning, yet it's not extravagant and the first time I tried it on I felt like a bride. This gown was made for the really tall I'd have to say though, I ordered a size 2 and it fits perfectly except for the length, I will have to have it taken up a few inches at least. I'm 5'6" just for reference."
