"After reading a few other reviews of this product, on David's Bridal and other sites, I decided to go with this for our Sand Ceremony. To be honest, I thought other brides were probably just being overly picky... However after receiving our frame and going through the ceremony. I definitely agree that the two vases that sand is poured from are WAY too small. I saw reviews that there was nowhere enough sand to fill the box, and I was ok with that. Too bad after pouring the sand into the box, you couldn't see ANY of it. There wasn't even enough to get up to the level of the glass to be seen.
Also, another review talked about how the monogram is hard to see. Again, I thought maybe they were being a little too picky. After filling our frame up, I do agree that the monogram really doesn't stand out as much as I would like.
I probably would have chosen something different after seeing the final product, and would not recommend this to anyone."

"I do not recommend this product. The letters do not show up hardly at all even with sand behind them. I was so excited to get this product in and now we're stuck with it because there is no return policy on personalized items."

Love, but small logistical problems
Date:June 18, 2013
"I love this shadow box. We got it in black and love how the top initial pops. The smaller names are a bit harder to see once the sand is poured in. Its beautiful and timeless. My two complaints are: 1.) It does not close as securely as I would like (or maybe mine was defected) and 2.) The glasses were so small and we did get the mixture of sand that I would have wanted and it did not even begin to fill the container although we had already put some sand at the bottom. My suggestion would be to use your own glasses not the ones that come with it. Price is average in comparison to competitors, but DB often has sales on ceremony items and with that discount it feels more worth the value considering the logistical problems i had. We have it on display on our mantle piece and glad we ordered it."
