"Very pretty on the model but once I received it was super thin. My fiancee thought when I tried it on that it was the underneath slip. It is very light but thin looking you can see threw the bottom, very wrinkley, would have been embarrassed to wear such a cheap looking dress if you are having a more traditional or bigger wedding. This is not it!"

"They did a great job on this dress. Very simple, but elegant and classy. It doesn't look cheap, like other people say, it looks exactly like a dress that costs $200. I liked it a lot, but, so you know, I am not a tiny person and this dress in size 2 was kind of loose on me. If you have a nice posterior, this dress would make you look like a Diva Latina."

"I love how the dress looks online, but when I got it in the mail I was not happy about the fabric. It was so thin and cheap looking. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone... Sorry and no offense to the girls who loved the dress. It just wasnt for me."

"I absolutely loved my dress!!! It fit like a glove...as you can see I'm curvy but it looks great on me!! I chose to wear it with the black sash and I also got the slip that made it a perfect mermaid look. I am so glad that I followed my first mind and ordered this dress. The length is the only thing that had to be altered...I'm 4'11"...If you chose to buy you won't be disappointed!!"

"I was really doubtful about ordering online...but when my dress arrived I really loved it and was glad I had ordered it! It fits perfectly and was the perfect lenght for me. I did not have to do any alterations what so ever! I even wore it Texas style, boots and all. LOL! Had a lot of great compliments on it. :)"

"I see that quite a few ladies were very happy with this dress, but I chose to return it. Compared with the other one I had ordered, it was no contest.
I liked the feel of the material, but the shape didn't flatter me. Would probably look better on a taller woman (I'm barely 5'4").
The flower on the sash is very cheap-looking, if I had kept the dress I would have most likely worn a different sash altogether."

I recieved it today via UPS, I tried it on and fell in love. Fits perfect, I will wear it with the white belt. The picture doesnt do it any justice. "Ok, So I bought this dress having never tried on a wedding dress. And I am happy I did! I love it! Where my hips are is a little tight so be aware of that if you have wide hips...but other than that a great dress....cant wait for my day...t-minus 13 days :)"

"I had already purchased a very expensive Oleg Cassini gown for my wedding. After my fiance lost his job we decided to put off our "big" wedding until next year and decided to do something small for our family. This dress seemed perfect for our small ceremony that we're going to do. I ordered my dress Sunday night and got it in the mail on Wednesday, which is great since my wedding is in a week! It fits perfectly, no alterations needed to the gown itself. The sashes that came with the gown however were too long and the hooks on the sash can't be adjusted so I have to have the alterations department add extra hooks so that it fits around my waist. Other than that this is a very good purchase."

"I wanted a dress that was simple but not plain. I also did not want to take away from the beautiful dress I wore the 1st time I married my husband. I saw this dress and knew it would be perfect for my renewal ceremony. The dress can be worn with the white or black sash included with the dress. I plan on wearing the white sash during the ceremony and the black sash for the reception. I was worried that the dress would be a little snug because I purchased the dress in my regular size. I was happy that the dress fit perfectly no alterations needed:)"

"I just bought this gown for my October wedding. We were originally going to do a destination wedding next year, but have since changed to a simple ceremony with immediate family. I thought this gown would fit the occasion perfectly. When I got it home - I was right! I ordered it in Ivory and in my regular size. It fits very nicely and it's just a sweet, simple, feminine, romantic gown. It's also kinda sexy and sophisticated too! I think it will be perfect for my wedding. I never wanted a big, expensive fru-fru gown and with this, I get exactly the look I want and at an excellent price. I am very happy with my purchase!"

"I got married on August 1st but didn't purchase my dress til about 2 weeks prior. A mixture of nerves and simply not being to find the "right dress" kept me from choosing. Just as I was about to finally kick myself in the butt and just choose, a new style was made available. As soon as I saw it I loved it, and knew it was the perfect dress for me. I didn't want anything "poofy" or too princess-like. I loved the outline this dress would give. I am between a size 16 and 18 so I ordered an 18 and had it adjusted to fit. It was THE PERFECT dress for me. I got married in the Caribbean where it's super hot so the light material and lack of excess underskirt made it a great dress for me. Within days my dress was shipped to my home in MD, but I was already in the Caribbean I didn't receive it til about 3 days before the wedding. It was everything and more than what I imagined. I absolutely loved wearing this on my big day. Thank you sooo much David's Bridal!"

"I bought this dress for my 2nd marriage. I'm 42 and didn't want a dress that looked like an 18 year old would wear to the prom. I wanted something grown up, that looked like something I would wear; a bit edgy, unexpected, and a little sexy. I love black, so I wore the dress with the black sash, which covered the edgy part. Everyone said it was totally "me". I loved this dress! I had garden wedding so no train was perfect and comfortable. I'm a size 8 and found the flower way too big, overpowering big. So we squeezed it to size I could live with and more in proportion and ran needle and thread back and forth through flower at the base. Once tied off the thread held it to a perfect size and you couldn't see at all. I wore a trumpet slip under the dress which I thought was needed to keep the dress from falling flat. Great price. I got tons of compliments. I would recommend to David's that they check the search on this dress as they would sell more of this one if it came up under "all gowns" instead of online only as it did when I was looking. Hope the pictures help people see the flower can be made smaller and the slip helps. One more thing, the shirring is very forgiving especially if you have had a child or otherwise have slight belly."

"I received my gown a few days after ordering it online. I absolutely love it! I actually had another gown - heavy, satin with pearl beading, and more expensive. When I saw this one on here, I ordered it and at first was a little nervous because it was so light. I put it on though, and it was LOVE! I know everyone says order two sizes bigger than your street size, but I ordered the same size I normally am and it needs to be taken in still. It comes with both black and ivory flower sashes (I'm using the ivory). It is very pretty, flattering and everything I wanted in a gown. To make up for no train on the gown I'm pairing it with a cathedral veil. Can't wait to wear it in October! :)"
