"I must admit a searched everywhere online for a dress that would catch my eye. I even went back countless times to DB's website and never really paid attention to this one. I was looking for a more formal longer gown. When i finally went in for my appointment, this was the first dress i tried it on, on the insistence of my best friend and Fiance....and WOW..i fell in love......i tried on three other dress i had thought i wanted...but i couldn't stop thinking of this one...and i tried it on, again...and immediately knew this was the one! the vintage feel of the organza and appliques were just what a i was looking for. And the dress was so flattering for my curvy size 8 body...LOVE IT LOVE it LOVE it...My fiance cant wait to see me walk down the aisle with this dress!"

"Just purchased this dress last night and I am so happy with it! The photo on the website is pretty, but it doesn't do the dress justice - you have to see the dress in person and try it on to appreciate the details and flattering fit. I'm wearing my mom's dress for the ceremony, which is more formal and modest. I wanted a reception dress that was a little more fun and flirty, with some sparkle and shine. This one was perfect."

"I tried this dress on, along with several others, and while I felt absolutely amazing in this dress, I was swayed by the opinon of my daughter, and chose another. However, this dress haunted me. Instead of picking up the dress I ordered, I decided to try this one on again, and sure enough, I felt fabulous! Needless to say, I walked out of the store with this beautiful dress, after a quick exchange, and I'm not looking back!
This dress feels feminine, yet a little funky, and I absolutely adore it. I can't wait for my fiance's face to light up when he sees me in it!"

"I had bought a dress three years ago and our fall wedding got postponed. So now we are planning on getting married in June so I wanted to get a new dress because the other one was so long and heavy which would not work for an outside, summer wedding.
I went in to David's Bridal knowing I wanted to find a tea length dress and had a hard time finding one. There were only a few to choose from. I ended up trying on six different dresses as well as this one. This was the 3rd dress I tried on and new it was the one. I tried on a couple longer dresses and nothing compared. Then I put this dress on one more time and just knew it was the one!
We are doing a vintage/antique/rustic wedding and this dress was perfect! The fit is great and the detail on this dress is just beautiful. I can't wait to get married in June and to see everything fall into place. I would highly recommend David's Bridal as well as this dress, formal but yet casual at the same time!"

"I bought this dress in the fall of 2011 for my wedding in Mexico (October 26/11). I looked every where for a tea/cocktail length gown, I wanted something special, formal but shorter than the typical formal wedding gowns I'd seen. A long gown would have been nice but we were married on the beach (in barefeet# and I didn't want the hem or train dragging through the sand. I saw the dress on a manequin in the store and tried it on #only 1 in the store) and although, it was only a size 8, I knew immediately, that I had found my dress. Everyone loved the dress, younger girls commented that they loved it because it was very "retro" and the older ladies loved the timeless style.
I absolutely love this dress and would highly recommend it for anyone. I have an hour glass shape, typically wear a size 10. I ordered the dress in a 12 & had it taken in at the bodice so it would be good and tight (didn't want the girls falling out), as my bust is 36DD."

"I went in knowing I wanted a shorter dress but just couldn't find any I liked. I walked out of my dressing room in a full length gown I chose at the same time another bride-to-be walked out in this, I loved it. Mind you this other bride was a complete dif body type than myself. I tried it on and fell in love! I chose the Ivory instead of white for our Vegas/ Flirty wedding. This dress looks great on all body types! BEAUTIFUL!!! I can't wait for my fiance to see it on our wedding day!"

"I went into David's Bridal looking for a fun, retro wedding dress to match my semi-formal wedding. I was leaning towards tea-length, but when I saw this on the mannequin I was disappointed. It looked sort of messy, with the way the skirt was laying. Still, there was something about it, so my best friend talked me into giving it a try. I'm so glad she did. It was the first dress I tried on that day and I couldn't stop dancing and twirling in it. I tried on other dresses to be sure, but I always came back to this one. It's just stunning and so figure flattering when you put it on. Because I have a large bust, I am having them alter the back to a corset closure to help prevent slippage on the big day (as my weight also fluctuates enough to cause issues if I just had a zipper closure). Otherwise, it's magical and I may never take it off once I have it finished. :- D"

"This was the 2nd dress I tried on. I actually ended up purchasing the Oleg Cassini style CWG377. I couldn't get this dress out of my mind and thought about it the rest of the day and the next day. I went back to David's Bridal and purchased this dress as my reception dress. It is so classic looking, but also fun and flirty. The dress I purchased for the ceremony is very romantic and is a very good fit for the ceremony portion of my wedding, but this dress just made me feel so good when I put it on. I came out of the dressing room twirling and spinning around. It is perfect for my reception. I can't wait to wear it and show it off."

"This dress is simply stunning! It was a must try on for me, my wedding is going to be semi-formal, no tuxes or jackets so I didn't need a big frilly dress. The beading is beautiful and the flowers are a nice touch! I also purchased the bra and the slip, no extra pouf was needed. I also got a veil, which is funny because I didn't think I wanted one but when the consultant put it on me I fell in love with it. This dress is perfect for my outdoor summer wedding! Highly recommend that you give it a shot"

"I purchased this dress in ivory. The detailing is stunning. I am quite fair skinned and worried about looking washed out in ivory, but the color is dark enough that it's beautiful. My mom and I went dress shopping. I tried on this dress first and put all the other dresses back. This dress is amazing. Even more beautiful on you than on the hanger. Extremely sophisticated tea length dress that will be perfect at a spring or summer wedding. Excellent for outdoor weddings and looks great with a wedge (so you don't sink in grass).
Like another review mentioned, I recommend a full corset bra to help the dress stay up. It does run about a size smaller than the other dresses. It looks a little silly with a veil. I didn't want a veil anyway so this worked well for me. I purchased a blusher headband with a flower and a few feathers. Beautiful and a steal at that price."

"I am thrilled with this dress. For our beach wedding, I wanted something lightweight and comfy....and this is! Everything else I tried on felt as though I was trapped in the dress and weighed down, this dress was so much lighter and I was able to move. I didn't go with the extra slip underneath...that gave way too much poof in the skirt for my liking, I had actually decided against this dress for that reason until I tried it back on without the slip and bam....I loved it! The couple of layers of crinoline under the skirt was more than enough for me. It does need the proper undergarments...a long bustier bra with boning is probably the best...I tried it on with that and a basic strapless and while it doesn't look any different on the outside with either one, it does slip down at the bodice with only a stapless bra. Fit runs a little small as with most dresses, so don't be upset that you may have to go up a couple of sizes!"

"I have known I wanted to wear a tea length gown for several years but finding one had been near impossible. Everything was "mermaids and poofs." It was the 3rd dress I tried and once it was on I didn't want to take it off. I highly recommend purchasing the "slip" for underneath to give the extra touch to the dress. If you want vintage chic this is it!"

"This is a beautiful dress! There's champagne colored threading on the flower applique of the ivory dress with a few beads and pearls. I'm 5'8" and the dress hit about mid calf. The A-line skirt is very flattering for plus sizes.The tulle of the skirt needed constant arrangement to lay flat, but the consultant said that steaming would fix the problem. It really is a beautiful dress- very vintage, very classy, could wear it to a casual wedding, a vegas wedding, or a fancy evening wedding."

"This dress had newly arrived in the store. I almost didn't try it on because of all the embellishment on it, but once I did, I was so in love with the look of the dress, the feel of it. It felt so perfect.
My mom lives out of state so I purchased it on my own. When I got home, I printed a large photo of this gown and sent it to her. She called me on the phone when she received it and was in tears and said that the dress was so beautiful and elegant and it was so perfect for me, so that made me happy."
